About

Born in Southern Ontario, Nick grew up on a small farm and joined the Navy out of high school in 1980. He served until 1989 as a marine engineer, or stoker, primarily on HMCS Saguenay but spent 2 years on HMCS Annapolis as well. In 1983 He married Alison Roth and had two of their 8 children in Nova Scotia. Nick took his release from the service in June of '89 and returned to Ontario 3 years later. He moved to the Ottawa valley in 1999 and now resides there with Alison and their children.

His work career has as many twists and turns as a back country road and includes time in sales, as a truck driver, furnace and air conditioning installer amongst other things, and now as a talk show host. He regularly hosts his own two shows at CFRA on the weekend called Nick at Night and Sunnyside Nick as well as filling in when ever and where ever needed.
